2008 HUSKY SUMMER FOOTBALL DATES

v  Monday, June 2^nd- Summer Workouts begin:

• Morning workouts are 8:00 am - 9:30 am Mon. thru Thurs.

• Evening workouts are 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm Mon. thru Thurs.

v  Practice Days:  We will have five (5) practice days on Mondays beginning June 9^th, with the following days being June 16^th and 23^rd.  July practice days will be July 7^th and 14^th. Practices will be in uppers from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

v  7 on 7 Thursday, June 12^th AT North vs. Owensboro at 6:00 pm.

v   Indiana State 7 on 7 tournament- Saturday, June 14^th

v  7 on 7 Thursday, June 19^th AT North vs. Heritage Hills at 6:00 pm - Varsity and JV

v  State Moratorium will be June 30^th - July 6^th.  There will be NO workouts statewide.

v  7 on 7 Thursday, July 10^th North vs. Harrison at 6:00 pm.

v  Monday, July 21^st – Friday, July 25^th – Varsity Football Camp* in the evenings from 6:00 pm – 8:00 p.m.

*Friday’s practice will be at 10:00 a.m.

* This camp is very important for people who plan to play football.

v  Saturday, July 26^th – TRAVEL to Jasper, IN for a 7on 7 tournament.

v  July 28^th – August 1^st No Workouts.

v   Monday, August 4^th - begin TWO-A-DAYS practice 8:00 a.m.  There will be a 4:00 p.m. meeting followed by 6:00 p.m. practice.

v   August 6^th, 7^th, 8^th Start of Practices for 7^th and 8^th graders

v   August 9^th FOOTBALL PICNIC and VARSITY PICTURES

v  August 15^th Scrimmage AT North vs. Jasper at 7:00 pm.

v  August 16^th GOLD CARD BLITZ
